Dude Where's my House?

We found out that we just lost a house after being in contract for 40 days. Some weird things have happened that were way out of our control. As frustrating and devastating as it is and sounds..we are still confident in the Lord. Perhaps God is protecting us from something that we do not yet see. We have two choices. We can get mad and get even, or trust in God with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, and enjoy a life of peace and patience. After contemplation we have decided to go with the latter. So for now we will embrace this story that He is writing in our lives, enjoy the moment, enjoy the process, and enjoy the people. An interesting opportunity is coming on the horizon that I cannot yet share but I will keep you posted. Here is what I (we) are trusting in today:

"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us".  Ephesians 3: 20-21 MSG

"Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
   don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
   he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.....   Proverbs 3:5 MSG

.....in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight". v6 NIV
