Easter Weekend

Where do I begin. This Easter was an amazing fun packed and life changing weekend. Starting on Friday we had two good friday services at our Ebenezers location. What a great time of reflection as we moved through the stations of the cross from the betrayal to the crucifixion. We set it up downstairs real dark and we kept it quiet. This enabled us to reflect and focus on the cross.
The on Saturday we had our Easter Eggstravaganza at Garfield Park from 1-3. We started setting up at 8am and it rained until we left at 3pm. The best part was that people actually showed up in the rain. I was amazed. It was all worth it watching the children play and have such a great time. The Egg Hunt itself was priceless. Eggs everywhere and kids everywhere. The kids seemed to turn into a vacuum as the eggs disappeared so quickly. Great time!
Then after the Egg Hunt we had two Easter services at Ebenezers followed by our baptismal service after the 630 service and then we had our 8 services on Sunday. Great turnout with our 100,000 piece mailer. We had 148 at our Kingstowne location.
Such a busy weekend but such a fruitful one as well. Now its time for a much need day off to reflect and enjoy the VICTORY!!
