Could it Be?

Shelly and I have been on a housing search since January. It has been a trying season for sure. We bid on one house twice and lost it both times. We received a contract one one house, moved in our belongings and then lost the entire deal due to the lack of diligence on the sellers part. We have experienced every kind of emotion in the past 5 months. Though it has not been easy, it has been a good journey of testing our character and our faith. What do I mean by testing our faith? For the past month we have been homeless to a point. Our belongings are packed up in storage and we have been staying with family and friends with no comfort or security of a home. This situation has drawn us closer to God and challenged both of us in making sure that our 100% security is found in Jesus, not in safety, a comfortable home, logic, finances, or anything else but God himself. When the act submission comes, then His timing follows. Recently our Realtor e,ailed us out of the blue and said he found what looks to be a diamond in the rough. It was an older home, newly renovated, right off of RT50, and on half an acre of land with a gorgeous backyard. It also happened to be eighty thousand dollars less than the homes we were previously looking at. After viewing the home Shelly and I both agreed to putting a contract on the home and after competing with four other offers, they accepted ours! It's not over yet. With our previous experience we know that anything can happen between now and then but we are one more step closer to securing a home and establishing a family. My feet are tapping but I will not dance until the keys are in my hands:)

Oh man, that definitely sounds like a pain. I went through some similar situations when I bought my first place. Hope everything goes well on this new contract.
